The DataCard 15000 Series Embossers are designed for production volume use (several thousand cards per run) where data is input through your PC computer or tape drive. The 15000 Series input hopper allows for cards to be automatically fed into the embosser. Fonts include OCR number characters spaced at 7 characters per inch and alphanumeric characters spaced at 10 characters per inch. These look like the characters on traditional credit cards. Color tipping of the embossed characters, encoding of the magnetic stripe and thermal printing of text, barcodes and logos are available on the DataCard 15000 Series Embossers. These would be automatically done during the card's movement through the embosser so that a complete card would be produced during one cycle of the embosser. This unit has a volume of up to 1000 cards/hour.
